Last month, we hosted the "Advanced Clinical Workflows in High Precision Radiotherapy" symposium in collaboration with Carmen Rubio, MD, Pedro Fernández Letón, PhD and their team at @Hospital Universitario HM Sanchinarro

The symposium had a great turnout with around 120 clinicians, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiotherapists and neurosurgeons from Spain and Portugal in attendance. They had the opportunity to share clinical experiences, management approaches and techniques related to using SRS and SBRT to treat both cranial (brain metastasis, functional) and extracranial indications (breast, prostate and lung).

In addition, they discussed Big Data insights in primary and metastatic oncological radiotherapy treatment from Brainlab company Mint Medical as well as the importance of undergoing Novalis Certification to standardize SRS and SBRT.

The team also hosted an onsite demonstration of the Brainlab patient monitoring and positioning system, ExacTrac Dynamic, as well as Elements, our precision treatment planning software for radiotherapy and radiosurgery.
