Novalis Certified is more than just an audit
It’s an ongoing relationship between experts and institutions to cultivate and maintain the highest standards of clinical practice.
The Novalis Certified expert team is currently comprised of eight highly experienced medical professionals.
Over the next months, as part of our “Meet the Experts” series, we will feature each of them and their insights from years of treating patients using stereotactic radiosurgery and/or stereotactic body radiotherapy.
The first expert we would like to feature is @James L. Robar , PhD, FFCPM, Chief of Medical Physics in Nova Scotia and Director of MSc and PhD Medical Physics programs at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. Professor Robar brings over 20 years experience with stereotactic techniques and currently serves on the stereotactic body radiation therapy team in Halifax, Canada.
As part of the Novalis team of experts, he is responsible for developing and managing the Novalis Certified Program. Additionally he is visiting centers around the word as a reviewer, leading audits to observe treatments on-site ensuring that the centers are compliant with the Novalis standard.
