📰 New paper on the benefits of Novalis Certified recently published in the Journal of Radiosurgery and SBRT. Keep reading for details 📰
Researchers reviewed how Novalis Certified can benefit centers performing stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) by collecting data with an anonymous survey from certified institutions.
Novalis Certified is an independent certification program for SRS and SBRT based on international standards, guidelines, and the current medical literature. The program promotes the delivery of cranial and body radiosurgery at a level of efficacy and safety commensurate with the highest standards of clinical practice. Delivery and software technologies from all vendors are included in all program assessments.
According to lead researcher @Timothy Solberg , the results of the study indicate that "institutions clearly see the value of a specialized external review in SRS/SBRT. The response to the Novalis Certified process and to the on-site review has been overwhelmingly positive."
Furthermore, the large number of centers that have received Novalis Certification or are in the process demonstrates the high demand for Novalis Certified as a necessary and established accreditation program for achieving the highest standards in the practice of SRS & SBRT.
